John -- the insurrectionists on January 6th caused more than $1.5 million in damage. Lives were lost as a result of their actions. They assaulted our Democracy, forcing members of Congress to barricade themselves in their offices and embarrassing America in front of the world. And we’re still dealing with the repercussions.

Now, those traitors think they should get off scot-free. And the GOP is giving them cover.
