Black women carry so much on our shoulders. And let me tell you, it’s even harder when the entire world’s expectations are upon you.

Friends,

It was a ton of fun being on Real Time with Bill Maher last week, but when he was reading off all the crazy things the right-wing were saying about Simone Biles, I only had one response:

“They can kiss my overworked Black woman ass.”

Click here to check out my segment on Bill Maher, then donate $15 so I can continue speaking out for my Black sisters and fighting back against right-wing extremism and racism.

Stacey Plaskett on Bill Maher

Black women carry so much on our shoulders, and let me tell you, it’s even harder when the entire world’s expectations are upon you.

So, when Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka took a much-needed break for their mental health, they proved that a Black woman’s rest is revolutionary.

And if the right-wing extremists want to come at Black women for putting ourselves first, well... as I said on Bill Maher, they can kiss my overworked Black woman ass.
