Hi there,
As Andy's finance director, the question I'm most often asked at this time of year is "Why does Andy have to start raising money so early before the election?"
The truth is: it is insanely expensive to campaign in NJ-03.
Andy's district is unique in that half of it is served by the New York media, and the other half is in the Philadelphia market. What that means is, Andy has to communicate in the number 1 and number 4 most expensive media markets in the country, and he doesn't have the GOP's corporate donors and super PACs on speed dial to fund that expense. Just take a look for yourself at the Nielsen data:

Dallas-Ft. Worth
You know Andy. You know his exemplary dedication to public service. And you know his commitment to bringing people together -- rather than tearing them apart.
But not all voters in NJ-03 know Andy like you do. That's exactly why we need to make sure we have the resources we need to reach them. We can't afford to wait until November of an election year to ramp up our television budget.
Andy's committed to reaching even the reddest corners of our district through town halls, community service, door knocking, and online. But that strategy is incomplete without TV ads to amplify our message far and wide. So, thanks for helping us change hearts and minds, and here's that link again to donate:
