Apply for the Medicare for All Leadership School before Aug 13 →
Time is ticking.
The deadline to apply for our second Medicare for All Leadership School is just 10 days away!
This two-month virtual program will begin in mid-September to help train leaders in our movement to become even more effective organizers. We want you to be one of them.
If you have any friends or family you think should apply as well, please share the application with them! People of color, women, and those with firsthand experience of our broken health care system are encouraged to apply.
Here’s what some graduates had to say about the first session:
“I could not recommend the NNU Leadership School more highly.”
“The knowledge that we learned from the Medicare For All School was invaluable.”
“I came out of the school more passionate and revitalized to continue the fight for Medicare For All.”
“I now feel confident in my ability to lead events that will help achieve Medicare for All.”
We know that local organizing works. It was through dedicated local campaigns that the Medicare for All movement added three new co-sponsors this year (Reps. Frank Pallone, Betty McCollum, and Zoe Lofgren) to HR 1976, the Medicare for All Act.
The more people we have putting pressure on their representatives locally – the better position we’ll be in to win. The Leadership School will train you on how to effectively work with and mobilize others, devise and approach strategy and tactics, and more.
The school will require a time commitment of roughly 5 hours per week, and you must be able to participate through the duration of the course, which will start in mid-September and go through mid-November.
We’re so excited to get started.
