We are on the verge of passing a breakthrough law to outlaw partisan gerrymandering before state politicians start rigging their maps on August 16th. But senators are preparing to leave for a congressional recess instead of staying in D.C. to get it done in time. 

We need to band together and demand Congress delay August recess until they've passed democracy reform. Will you share this post on social media now to spread the word and pressure Congress to stay in Washington D.C. until gerrymandering is illegal?

Would your boss allow you to just skip town with a monumental deadline on the horizon? To leave work on a moment's notice with not so much as an explanation? Yeah …. we didn’t think so. 

This is our chance to end partisan gerrymandering and beat back the hundreds of anti-voters bills moving through states across America. We are on the brink of fixing our broken political system and creating a government that’s of, by, and for the American people.

We need to keep Congress at the Capitol — putting overwhelming grassroots pressure on their shoulders and forcing them to pass crucial democracy reform before states begin to gerrymander their voting maps on August 16th.
