Glacier Book Club
Featuring
Through Glacier Park
By Mary Roberts Rinehart
Glacier Conservancy Executive Director, Doug Mitchell, invites you to join us for the return of Glacier Book Club! The book the group will be reading for August is Through Glacier Park. Mary Roberts Rinehart writes in her famous travelogue, first published in 1916, introducing readers to the recently minted national park and to the scenic wonders of Montana and to the adventures to be found there.
Rick Rinehart, the great-grandson of Mary Roberts Rinehart, will join us for this discussion. An author and publisher in his own right, Rick wrote the forward to the current edition of Through Glacier Park. Rick is a former Colorado Humanities Scholar, and also serves as chair of the Mary Roberts Rinehart Foundation's awards program for talented, emerging authors.
The Zoom book group discussion will be on Tuesday, August 17 at 6:30PM MT. Registration is limited, so please click the link below to get started!
