John, in a
minute, I'm going to ask you to [ [link removed] ]please contribute your
very first
$5 donation to help flip this seat and send
John Fetterman to the U.S. Senate.

Before I do, I want to share one of the main reasons why I'm proud to
serve as John's Political Director: His long-standing commitment to
working toward ending the racist War on Drugs, and his ongoing fight for
marijuana justice + second chances.

I'll start at the beginning. Back in 2016, other Democrats running for
Senate in PA were afraid to go bold on the issue of legal weed. Not John.
He was a lone voice for full legalization of marijuana, regardless of any
political consequences.

Then, in 2018, John *again* chose to make legal weed a key campaign
priority in his race for Lt. Governor — something that most other
Democrats shy away from to this day. (BTW, he and Governor Wolf went on
earn the highest number of votes ever won as a ticket in a Pennsylvania
gubernatorial election.)

In 2020, John pressured fellow Democrats nationwide to join his fight for
full-on legalization. He penned a blazing op-ed in The Washington Post,
and let's just say he didn't mince words…

[ [link removed] ]Headline: Get with the program, legalize weed.

Here's the big picture,
John: John has proven that he
is not afraid to stand on the right side of history when it comes to
legalizing weed, expunging marijuana records, and releasing all those
incarcerated for the plant — even when it has meant standing there alone.

In his current role as Lt. Governor, John has helped establish an
expedited review process for pardons for low-level cannabis charges. These
pardons have helped scores of deserving Pennsylvanians get their lives
back after unjust, racist, and inhumane drug policies ripped them away.

John hasn't had to "evolve" on his core issues like some other politicians
have. Because where he stands today is where he's always stood. [ [link removed] ]If
that's the kind of leader you want fighting for you, will you chip
your first
$5 to help elect John to the U.S. Senate, where he'll be
one of the loudest voices for legal weed + marijuana justice? I wouldn't
ask if it weren't so important.

Thank you so much for your support,

Political Director
John Fetterman for U.S. Senate

P.S. John,
when people ask me why I'm proud to be in
John Fetterman's corner, I tell them this: John has never shied away from
the kinds of bold policies that have the power to reimagine what justice
looks like in Pennsylvania and our entire country. But sending him to the
Senate and flipping this seat blue can only happen with enough people
chipping in whatever and whenever they can. [ [link removed] ]If that's you today,
please consider sending $5 our way so we can keep up the fight to
elect John.
