If we allow the end of the eviction moratorium to go unaddressed, millions
of families will be evicted at a time in which more than 11.4 million
people are struggling to pay their rent.
That’s why I’m urging the White House to immediately reinstate the
moratorium and halt all evictions. Then, we need to do significantly more
to make housing affordable for all. Here’s the bottom line: Democrats need
to be the party that keeps people in their homes.

chipping in $3. My campaign runs on grassroots donations,
not PAC donations from the corporate landlords trying to evict working
families during a pandemic.

Even before the pandemic, more than 580,000 people were experiencing
homelessness on any given night. On top of that, 10.5 million households
were paying more than 50 percent of their income on rent — putting them on
the edge of being evicted too. And right now, more than 6.5 million renter
households remain behind on their rent.
Without immediate action by the White House, millions of people are going
to be kicked out of their homes. We can’t let that happen. The White House
can and must act now.
[ [link removed] ]It is urgent that we continue our push to reinstate eviction
protections and guarantee housing as a human right. Chip in
$3 to support my push for action from the White House.
In solidarity,
Pramila
