Trump News Update → The Justice Department has released notes from a conversation in where then-President Trump urged the acting U.S. Attorney General to call the 2020 election "corrupt," adding "leave the rest to me."

Just think about it: A President of the United States pressured the chief law enforcement officer in America to falsely characterize the election as "corrupt" for his own selfish political purposes.

We can't let ourselves become numb to this kind of misconduct. This is not normal. It's wrong, it's outrageous, and it's unacceptable. Add your name if you think Trump should be held accountable.

We have to confront lies about our democracy with the truth: The 2020 election was fundamentally fair, honest, accurate, and secure.

We also have to hold accountable those who abuse their power by pressuring others to lie about that truth.

I'm a long-term optimist about democracy in America, but in the short-term we all need to do our part to restore shared confidence in our system. Part of restoring confidence is holding people accountable. Add your name if you think former President Trump should be held accountable. [link removed]
