I want to thank everyone who contributed to our campaign last month. Your support means so much to me. It’s a driving force behind why I get to do what I love every day: fight for Marylanders in Congress. 

It was this grassroots community’s support in previous years and election cycles that helped put me in a position last month to join the Democratic House Majority in passing a major spending package with a host of important Maryland priorities in it, including:

• Over $90 million for the Chesapeake Bay Program and combating climate change
• Efforts to prevent gun violence in Baltimore
• Funding to rebuild our roads, rails, and waterways and fix potholes on I-295
• Powerful investments in veterans health care
• Improvements to child care for working families
• Resources to build up our public health infrastructure so we’re better prepared to respond to pandemics

I’m always excited to share our big wins in the House with you when our government works the way it’s supposed to work and we can make an impact for Maryland families for the better.
