We came up short of reaching our July grassroots fundraising goal over the weekend, and the first two days of August haven’t been much better.

Without a surge of grassroots contributions today, we risk falling behind even further. We might have to pare back some of our plans to make the big investments it will take to help elect Democrats up and down the ticket -- including a comprehensive grassroots organizing operation and a robust paid media budget.
