Hey Friend!

What a ride it's been! Joining the team here at Battle Born Progress and the Institute for a Progressive Nevada back in 2018, I had no idea about all the things I'd experience. And I couldn't have imagined the wonderful donors, activists, and community members I'd meet or the issues we'd tackle together. Let me just say that BBP and IPN donors are awesome! Thank you for all you do to make progress happen in Nevada.

I'm writing to let you know that it's time for my next adventure. I'll miss working with all of you! The things we've done together bring a great sense of hope and accomplishment. I know you'll carry that hope into the future as we all focus on making Nevada a progressive, inclusive, and awesome state. Looking back, what stands out most for me is how progressives here always lead the way on voting rights, gun violence prevention, strengthening healthcare in our state, and standing together to fight for community issues. What happens in Nevada definitely doesn't stay in Nevada!

My last day is Friday, August 6th, but I want you to know that I've had time to train and prepare an excellent person to carry on the fundraising work here at BBP and IPN. Many of you probably know him and the work he's accomplished as an activist and an organizer. He's worked with several of our partner and coalition allies and we were fortunate to have him join our team in January as our Administrative Assistant. Please congratulate our new Fundraising Manager, Alex Camberos! Of course I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't make a small ask -- If you can, please make small gift in honor of Alex.

Alex has a lot of work to do and will need your ongoing encouragement, input, and generosity. He's jumping right into planning and managing our 8th Annual Celebrate Progress, and right after that he'll play a big role in planning and fundraising for our 8th Annual Progressive Summit.
