Seth's job as Treasurer is to protect the financial wellbeing of all Rhode Islanders -- and that includes the teachers, first responders, and other public servants who depend on the Rhode Island pension fund for their retirement security.

Facebook's failure to protect user data has caused long-term financial losses for the Rhode Island pension fund. Their lack of action to protect our data allowed information to fall into the hands of bad actors. Facebook user data was obtained by Cambridge Analytica without users' consent, then used to promote the campaigns of Donald Trump for President, Ted Cruz for Senate, and the pro-Brexit movement.

Now Seth is taking action to hold Facebook's leaders accountable.
