It’s been the center of this campaign and the work we do for our future. It’s been the driving factor in every effort to pass a bill. It’s been at the forefront of every conversation I’ve had with my colleagues in Congress -- no matter the political party.

Love and compassion is why this team is so strong. It’s why every time we put forth a petition to raise our voices and demand change, thousands of you add your name without hesitation. It’s why every time we’ve got a crucial fundraising goal, we’re able to reach it by the deadline.

So friend, I’m here to thank you -- thank you for making yet another crucial fundraising goal a reality. Thank you for being a part of a team that chooses love and compassion at a time where it’s so easy to choose division and hatred.

As long as we keep love and compassion at the center of all we do, we will move this country forward for the better. We will make sure every single person in our nation feels the love and compassion we work so hard for in every aspect of our lives.
