Last night, I found out that billionaire Tom Steyer spent a whopping $47 MILLION of his own fortune to buy his way onto the debate stage.

$47 million to buy online donors and dominate the airwaves. Let that sink in.

Look, you shouldn’t have to be a billionaire to run for President. Money doesn’t vote. People do. And I think the most important qualification any candidate should have is a record of getting things done for everyday people.

But sadly, the DNC literally let a billionaire buy his way onto the debate stage.

I don’t have billions of dollars at my disposal -- and frankly, I don’t want it. I’m running for President to get Big Money OUT of politics. That’s what I tell folks all across the country, but I need people like you to chip in to help me keep fighting. Can you donate?

At this point, I don’t have much left to say about the DNC’s debate rules that have allowed a billionaire hedge fund manager to bankroll his way to the stage -- while shutting out candidates who have an actual record of getting things done.

That’s why I’m staying focused on what matters most: the voters. There are 110 days left until the people first express their preference in Iowa -- and nine months until we select our nominee -- and I’m going to spend each of those days going everywhere and speaking with everyone.

We will win this election by winning back the places Democrats lost. I’m the only candidate in this race who’s already proven they can do that.

But I’m not a billionaire. I’ve spent my career fighting to eliminate the influence of billionaires, corporations, and Dark Money in our elections, and I rely on donations from people like you to power this campaign.
