John,
It’s been over two months since the deadline President Biden set for Congress to pass a bipartisan police reform bill. But the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act is still sitting in the Senate, collecting dust.
What are they waiting for?
I served as a law enforcement officer for 27 years. Nobody can tell me that police reform is impossible or too hard. If you agree with me, sign this petition demanding the Senate pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act immediately >>> [[link removed]]
This historic bill addresses police misconduct, excessive force, and racial bias in policing. Most importantly, it takes us one step closer to reforming our broken criminal justice system.
Over 30 years ago, I experienced police brutality firsthand. And ever since, I’ve dedicated my career in law enforcement to fighting the injustices Black and brown communities face every day.
We still have a lot of work to do — but together, we can bridge the gap between law enforcement and the people they serve through accountability, transparency, and connection to the community.
We need more leaders in Congress who will prioritize practical solutions to address the issues hurting our communities most. That’s why I am running for Congress. But until then, I ask that you join me and tell the Senate to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act NOW >>> [[link removed]]
