Join me and the Riders Alliance to demand more buses, trains, and fair federal funding to #TransformTransit!

Dear Friend,

Brooklyn needs more public transit aid -- not less. That’s why the Riders Alliance and I are rallying tomorrow at 11am at the 86th Street Subway stop in Bay Ridge to demand fair federal funding for our transit system. We need your voice!

Working-class riders in Brooklyn are already waiting longer than ever for the next train or bus, and as the city re-opens, congestion is getting worse every day. A reliable, resilient, and accessible transit system is vital to New York’s recovery, and yet, some federal lawmakers are fighting to cut public transit aid where it’s needed most. We can’t be quiet about this; we must demand that Washington fast-tracks the investment that New Yorkers need!

Join me at our rally with the Riders Alliance tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th at 11am to demand more buses, trains, and fair federal funding in our city! Together, we can #TransformTransit.

We need public transit riders to speak up now and demand Congress ensure our transit service meets the needs of riders today and in the future. We must speak out to ensure that New York City riders aren't left stranded! Thank you.

In Solidarity,

Andrew
