Sometimes – and we mean SOMETIMES, the media gets it right. As we reported last week, “In a surprising admission, a headline in the Los Angeles Times divulges that the Golden State’s devotion to all things gun control is actually taking a bit of a tumble. According to the Times, “As violent crimes surge, Californians’ faith in gun control slips in new poll.” Clearly, this is grounds for some serious pearl clutchin’ from the Left, but we know it’s more than true. Read the Times piece here which quotes GOC’s Sam Paredes and our take on the new numbers below.
We also have two stories from San Diego – one trumpets the incredible positives of owning an AR, while the other is a real eye-roller. A member of the San Diego City Council has proposed an ordinance called “E.N.U.F (Eliminate Non-Serialized Untraceable Firearm) Ordinance.” It makes no matter that unserialized guns are already illegal in California (except for rare antiques and collectibles) – it’s just more fun for them to jump on the bandwagon to make things “illegal-er.”
Make sure you check out why we think support for gun control is slipping and in fact, greater than reported in our latest blog:California Crime Surges and Support for Gun Control Falls. Read it HERE and make sure you STAY ARMED AND INFORMED – PASS IT ON!
