I don't take anyone's decision to donate lightly, John. Your hard-earned dollars can be used for anything, which makes the choice to invest in this scrappy young campaign all the more meaningful.
What makes this all the more amazing is that we reached our goal with people-power. While Lee Zeldin has spent his entire career beholden to special interests and dark money, we're running this campaign by and for the people. Working families, small businesses, and folks across our community have been left behind for too long. But not anymore.
We've got a long road ahead of us and lots of work to do, but knowing this team is with me keeps me energized every single day. We're in this together, and together we can and we will win -- changing politics in NY-01 for the better.
