Dear John,
Just a quick reminder about this Saturday - we will be doorknocking to find out the most pressing issues in our target wards in Hammersmith and Kensington.
Thanks so much to those who have signed up already 😍
We still need some more people to do this, so please do sign up for one or both Saturdays, 7th or 21st August. Just an hour or two will make all the difference to the team.
If you're really keen for us to elect our first Green councillors in West Central London, then please consider attending Campaign School - it's a 4 day residential over a weekend in Nottingham in October, with all accommodation and meals included, and followed up by 9 months of coaching and training.
It's a brilliant way to meet Greens from across the country face to face and learn the campaigning skills that have brought us electoral success on councils many times before.
There is a cost payable by both you and us as a local party (£50 from each of us), but if this is potentially an issue there is a bursary available to ensure money isn't a barrier.
The deadline to apply is 10am, Tuesday 17th August. If you would like to apply, just let me know and I'll send you further info and short application form.
Also, if you have any questions or would like help with your application and/or costs, just let me know and we can have a chat. Having more West Central London Greens trained up would really help us to get our first Green councillors!
Hope you have a great week, and look forward to seeing lots of you on Saturday to knock on doors!
best wishes
Naranee
