 It's the big week: ballots are due for the 2021 Primary by August 3 at 8 PM. Find a ballot drop-box near you. The Nikkita Oliver Campaign has a Primary Night Party at Equinox Studios, Tuesday @ 6 PM. It's not over yet: the General Election will have tons of opportunities to volunteer!
 In the news, Seattle DSA member-endorse Stephanie Gallardo was interviewed in Jacobin Magazine. Stephanie Gallardo is a union leader and educator running for office in Washington's 9th Congressional District against Rep. Adam Smith, a top recipient of money from the military-industrial complex. The Seattle DSA for Stephanie Gallardo Subcommittee meets Monday @ 5:30 PM.
 If you need a moment to breathe during all this, there's a Happy Hour on August 9 at 6 PM. Details/sign-up here. Are you interested in learning more about Seattle DSA? Are you socially exhausted, anxious? Join us for a very casual social “Happy Hour” to ask questions, meet other new DSA members, and meet experienced DSA organizers. Don’t be shy, come for 2 minutes and bounce or chat us up for the whole hour. There is no need to be a DSA member to come to this event!
Finally, our General Membership Meeting was moved to August 10 at 7 PM. It overlapped with the National Convention where our delegates vote on nationwide priorities for the socialist movement.
