We are looking for dynamic volunteers to join the Chamber’s Gala Committee! As a committee member, you'll get to go behind the scenes to help us make this event a success, helping us sell tickets and secure sponsorships and silent auction items. This is an excellent way to connect with fellow members and show your support for the Chamber. Our first meeting is Wednesday, August 11 at 4:00 p.m. on the Zoom Platform.

Register for the Chamber's Breakfast Connection. Held virtually over Zoom, this event focuses on power networking through virtual breakout rooms and will provide attendees the chance to share a 60-second pitch with their fellow participants.
This Breakfast Connection will focus on education to form connections to either deepen your connections with our local educational institutions, or to explore relationships to help you get started. Our featured speaker for this will be Dr. Francisco Durán, Superintendent, Arlington Public Schools.

The American Rescue Plan Act that Congress passed in March included an approximately $23 million allocation directly for Arlington County. These funds are in addition to money given to the Commonwealth of Virginia. In April, the County Board directed that some of those funds be used to support small businesses through grants similar to the local Small Business Emergency Relief GRANT program implemented last year. Arlington Economic Development is working on the proposal for criteria and process to apply for these grants.
AED Deputy Director Cindy Richmond and BizLaunch Director Tara Palacios will join the Government Affairs & Economic Development Committee to discuss their current planning and to hear feedback and ideas from committee members.

Join the Chamber for our Business After Business! Build your network while enjoying food, beer, wine, and soft drinks (all included in your registration). Creating connections in this relaxed setting is a great way to end your business day.
Our July Business After Business was a fantastic return to our in-person Business After Business programing with more than 100 people registered. Our August Business After Business will be hosted by Washington Workplace.
