Dear Friends, Tarrant County deserves proven, conservative leadership. I'm running to reduce our overbearing tax burden, hold government accountable to the people, and keep special interest groups and liberal bureaucrats from dictating Tarrant County policy. Unfortunately, my opponent does not share that same vision. It is becoming increasingly clear that Betsy Price does not share our conservative values. It was revealed this week that Betsy Price has thrown her lot in with left-wing, Critical Race Theory advocates, as she will be the guest of honor at an event sponsored by Southlake Carroll ISD School Board Member Sheri Mills, a Democrat. Mills was School Board President and a member of Carroll ISD’s District Diversity Council, which developed the controversial Cultural Competence Action Plan (CCAP), parts of which were based in Critical Race Theory and other leftist ideology. Additionally, records show the Vasquez Family, who will be hosting the event at their home, have never once voted in a Republican primary election, but have voted in multiple Democrat primary elections. I sincerely believe you can determine a person’s values and how they will govern by looking at the company they keep. In Betsy Price’s case, that’s apparently hardcore Democrats who are hard at work pushing a poisonous and racist curriculum on our children. The event invitation is included below. It is concerning that the invitation touts Betsy as a ‘proven conservative.’ For anyone who’s been paying attention, they know that Betsy encouraged BLM protestors in Fort Worth and spent $1 million in taxpayer dollars to establish a Cultural Sensitivity Training Department. She then tapped a Democrat to run it. Additionally, she favored shutting down churches and businesses during COVID (while allowing abortion providers to remain open), criticized Governor Abbott for removing the mask mandate too soon, and threw her support behind President Biden’s bloated, big-government infrastructure spending plan.
