Friend,

Currently, there is no place in America where a full-time, minimum-wage worker can afford rent without extreme financial burden. But the Civilian Climate Corps could change that.

We can’t address our housing crisis without addressing our climate crisis. Over one-third of all homes in the US are at high risk of a natural disaster, and residential homes account for 20 percent of greenhouse gas emissions. The Civilian Climate Corps, introduced as part of President Biden’s American Jobs Plan, would train and hire thousands to improve climate resilience in vulnerable communities and assist in establishing green, affordable housing.

Will you stand with NextGen in fighting climate change and electing leaders who will make our climate crisis their priority by donating $5, $10, or whatever you can afford today?

We must keep up pressure on President Biden and the Democratic majority to ensure any new infrastructure bill includes provisions to combat climate change. Help NextGen keep up the fight against climate change by donating today.
