When we started the Lunch & Learn series 16 months ago, we had no idea how many of you would spend your Friday lunch hours learning with us.
The response has been incredible. Since April 2020, over 10,000 people have joined a Lunch & Learn or watched later on our YouTube page [[link removed]] . It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know so many of you. Last weekend I even ran into a loyal regular at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens!
One lesson we’ve all learned living through the pandemic is the importance of savoring the moments we do have with friends and family. Because of that, Kathleen and I have decided to take a few weeks off from hosting the Lunch & Learns to spend time enjoying Maine’s short, sweet, and fleeting summer with the people we love in the places we love.
We’ll be back online after Labor Day when we’ll explore a climate change solutions simulator, underwater landscapes with returning guest Dr. Joe Kelley, and learn about Maine’s Public Utilities Commission from its newest Commissioner, Patrick Scully.
We look forward to seeing you again on September 10.
