Honk honk!

Howdy John!

We're one our way back from the first few stops of our 99 County Tour -- and I couldn't be more excited to be reporting back from the back of our huge tour truck.

We started out in my home county of Crawford, stopped in Carroll County for a radio interview, and I met with some awesome local Democrats to discuss our plans for Iowa, working families, and our local farming community.

Then, we headed to Webster County and Story County, then Jasper County and then Lee County for a big summer event, where we got to talk with folks about their concerns for Iowa and our country.

They mentioned a few things that are always on my mind -- our broken health care system, our dismal minimum wage of $7.25 that nobody can live off of, and the abuse of money in our political system that gives corporations a massive advantage over working people and small businesses.

Iowans know things need to change, and that another year of Chuck Grassely in office will bring nothing for everyday people who need assistance right now.

That's why I'm running to flip this battleground Senate seat, and I need you with me to win. Can you keep our momentum going by chipping in just $5 or whatever you can right now?

For our last stop in the first leg of this tour, we grabbed a cup of coffee from Polk County and watched the sunrise, while meeting and talking with a fine group of locals. It was a really special experience for me to connect with so many people, and to be able to hear so many heartfelt, personal stories.

I'm humbled by the kindness and generosity we received from everyone who came out to see us. Can't wait to get back on the road and make some more friends.

'Till next time,

Dave Muhlbauer
