John — Ordinarily, the first of the month would be the day that I email all of my supporters and thank them for helping us hit our monthly fundraising goal.
But, unfortunately, today we have a problem.
Just as we were getting ready to close the books on July fundraising, my opponent Teddy Daniels launched an off-the-rails fundraising ad that immediately went viral in far-right circles on social media. Rumors suggest that Teddy is raking in cash from this despicable ad that declares members of Congress “enemies of the nation” and then features him opening fire.
Simply put, John, in light of this viral ad we’ve had to extend our July fundraising goal another 48 hours to try to raise the $5,000 we need to fight back.
