I’m sorry to bother you again on the weekend, but we only have a few hours left until our end-of-month fundraising deadline and we’re not quite on track to hit our goal of 1,000 donors.

It’s hard to believe I’ve been serving in Congress for 200 days now. These past seven months have flown by, but I’m so proud of the work we’ve done to pass historic legislation that protects the right to vote, ensures equal pay for equal work, fights for equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community, prioritizes criminal justice reform and gun safety, and so much more. I’m particularly proud that we passed the expanded and improved Child Tax Credit as part of the American Rescue Plan — a measure that is on track to cut childhood poverty in half.

If we’re going to keep making progress on these crucial issues, we have to keep the House blue in 2022. But with a small Democratic majority to begin with — combined with upcoming redistricting — we can’t afford to lose a single seat.
