Friend,
As you know, Dean is committed to running a campaign powered by people like you and me. And, with the campaign's mid-month fundraising effort now in the rearview mirror, I'm here to say that you've once again come through.
Thank you.
Right now, I'm retired, but I spent the last two decades of my career conducting leadership training events across the country.
After Trump's election, I found myself struggling in the darkness. I knew I needed to find a leader I could put my faith in -- and a way to channel my energy for good.
When Dean announced his candidacy in 2017, I saw a leader whose values, intellect, belief in transparency, and compassion for people were abundantly clear. He made a commitment to his children that he'd do something -- and he made a leap.
I did, too.
I got involved in Dean's campaign. And, since that announcement, I have volunteered to staff his campaign office, knock doors, phone bank, write postcards, and coordinate conversation events with seniors and women.
I can absolutely say that what I saw then is true today. Dean can't be bought -- he's a man of conviction. And, I know many volunteers feel just as I do -- they see how authentic he is.
It's not an over-exaggeration to say that the work we do to support Dean's campaign today is critical to preserving our democracy for future generations.
Without you, this simply wouldn't be possible.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for continuing to support Dean.
