I know it’s late -- but I had to send just one more message before putting my phone down for the night.

I just reviewed my final finance update of the month, and I’m sorry to report that my House Democrats are still short of our must-hit goal.

So since you’re one of my very best grassroots supporters, I just had to reach out one last time to see if you could chip in and help close the gap.

Let me be absolutely clear: We cannot afford to miss this goal.

Republicans have been outraising and outspending us across the board -- and if we don’t turn the tide soon, I fear we could lose our Majority and everything we’ve worked for.

So please, if you could chip in $5, $10, $15 -- or anything you can spare -- before midnight, I’d be so grateful.
