Frankly, my team is feeling defeated. After a slow response today, they’ve nearly given up on making up our budget deficit. In fact, they don’t know I’m sending you this email, but I just couldn’t let this failure happen…
There are just hours left to go on our July fundraising deadline, and we are at severe risk of coming up short. That’ll mean budget cuts for our campaign at the absolute worst time -- while Pelosi is expanding her power with fines and even arrests!
To put a fine point on it: Nancy Pelosi literally docked my pay today for refusing to follow her mask mandates, and she is even threatening to arrest people who don’t bend the knee and kiss the ring.
This is unprecedented authoritarian action from someone who has used her time in power solely looking for ways to expand it… and targeting conservatives like you and me in the process!
If we’re going to put a stop to it, we can’t come up short tonight. A failure today would not only look terrible but it would mean severe budget cuts that will leave us totally unable to fight back against Pelosi’s power grab.
So, with $6,974 left to go and our deadline at midnight, I’m asking for one last push to make sure we right the course.
