John: Our July fundraising is not
where we need it to be.

When the rich and powerful built our current political system, they made
rules that let money influence policies more than the people. That’s why I
don’t accept corporate PAC money—and neither does Truth to Power.
Without outside influence from dark money groups and corporate lobbyists,
Truth to Power candidates can continue to represent the interests of
working families. But it also means that we need a strong grassroots
movement at our back to help us catch up to and defeat the dark money
funded candidates running against us.

weakness for Truth to Power and the candidates we support, and the GOP
will see it as a chance to pour even more resources into critical races
