John,

In my district, there’s an issue that keeps coming up again and again: The high cost of prescription drug prices.

Americans pay some of the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs – but it doesn’t have to be this way. That’s why I’m supporting a new effort to allow Medicare to negotiate with drug companies for the best price.

The House is marking up H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act of 2019, tomorrow and we need to show the grassroots support behind this important legislation. Sign on as a citizen co-sponsor and urge Congress to allow Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices!

SIGN ON

This American problem has an American solution – spurring negotiation and competition to get the best price for YOU and your family. H.R. 3 would establish a fair price negotiation program, protect the Medicare program from excessive price increases, and establish an out-of-pocket maximum for Medicare part D enrollees.

The rising cost of prescription drugs is an issue that persists across the board. The price of necessary and often life-saving drugs has skyrocketed in recent years. Too many Americans are struggling to afford their medications, while Big Pharmaceutical corporations are raking in millions of dollars in profits.

Will you join me in urging my colleagues in Congress to immediately pass legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs?

Thanks for speaking out,

-- Matt

Because of this very issue, I’ve refused to take any campaign donations from Big Pharma. Thanks for standing with me to put the health of working families above the profits of big corporations.
