We just came back in from knocking doors all morning and had a chance look at where the fundraising is heading into tonight's deadline.
A bunch of folks stepped up yesterday after the long email - we couldn't be happier! That being said, we are still just a little bit short of where we need to be by the end of the night. If you haven't yet, $25 would go a long way.

We've had a busy month! In a moment, I'm going to ask you for a contribution but first I want to tell you where things stand.
We hired our first two amazing organizers, Cairnie and Ibely, who have been working hard recruiting volunteers and knocking on doors to make sure voters know about the race this fall.
This month, Joyce officially filed for the ballot! Surrounded by friends, family, and supporters, Joyce brought hundreds of nominating petitions from voters in every ward – the only candidate for Mayor to file by petition.
Last week, we celebrated 100 days from Election Day with our very first Weekend of Action! Thank you to everyone who has already joined us for a volunteer shift – I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else on the doors and on the phones soon.
Joyce's recommendations for over $43 million in ARP funds were overwhelmingly approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. This is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in our city by helping residents address health and safety in our neighborhoods, supporting small businesses, increasing affordable housing, and adding workforce development and college education initiatives.
We only have 53 days until the primary. Between now and then I will be setting the budget for the rest of the campaign. How we do will determine if we can hire more staff, how much mail we will be able send, and whether we can get up on tv.
And that's why I'm writing to you today. We're still $3,560 away from reaching our fundraising goal for the month. [[link removed]] [[link removed]]
I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't important. I know this team has always supported Joyce, and she always talks about how grateful she is for the folks who make this possible.
