I wanted to reach out after talking with my team. Our next big fundraising deadline is 11:59 p.m. tonight, and right now we’re just about $1,200 short of our goal.
You know I’m one of the few members of Congress to reject PACs and lobbyists – so I’m emailing you to ask if you can help put us over the top of our July goal of raising $20,000 in grassroots donations. We’re almost there!
Staying on track with our grassroots fundraising is vitally important. Our average donation this month is roughly $17 because we’re powered by people, not corporations or special interests. But building an entire movement funded by $5, $10, and $25 donations isn’t always easy.
The truth is that our fundraising has slowed down lately – but tonight’s final end-of-month push is a major opportunity to catch up. With so much on the line in our fights to abolish the filibuster and pass Medicare for All and a Green New Deal, I’m counting on folks like you today.
If you’re with me in the fight to pass bold, transformative policy in Congress, can you rush a donation right now – before tonight’s deadline? Most folks are giving between $15 and $20, but any amount you can give – even just $3 – will help us reach our goal.
