John — Did you hear this? Former Trump Administration Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke is running for Congress and reported to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) this month that he raised $181,235.03.

He’s building up a serious war chest to return to Congress and continue his destructive environmental policies. Will you donate right now to help us fight back? [[link removed]]

Zinke was called “the face of Trump’s environmental rollbacks” for leading the charge for special interests to loosen environmental standards. Some of the many actions he took as Interior Secretary include:

*
Initiating
the
review
process
that
led
to
auctioning
off
the
Arctic
National
Wildlife
Refuge
(ANWR).
*
Approving
a
raid
by
oil
and
gas
companies
on
the
National
Petroleum
Reserve
without
proper
review.
*
Urging
President
Trump
to
shrink
several
national
monuments
that
were
meant
to
be
permanently
protected.
*
Drafting
a
leasing
program
that
would
open
nearly
all
coastal
waters

even
off
the
coast
of
the
Arctic
Refuge

to
oil
and
gas
drilling.
*
Selling
off
triple
the
public
lands
to
oil
and
gas
drilling
than
what
was
average
under
the
Obama
Administration.
*
Proposing
policy
to
weaken
the
Endangered
Species
Act
by
scaling
back
provisions
designed
to
stop
animals
from
going
extinct.
*
And
much,
much
more.

We can’t let Ryan Zinke return to Congress. Instead, we need to raise money to elect environmental champions and oppose Zinke and candidates like him. Will you rush a donation today? [[link removed]]

On top of his anti-environmental policies, Secretary Zinke was also mired in charges of corruption and unethical behavior. According to the government watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), there were at least 18 investigations into Zinke for conduct during his tenure, including retaliation against a whistleblower and politically motivated retaliation against staff, censorship of climate science, misuse of taxpayer dollars on a $139,000 office door, and multiple conflicts of interest.

Between his disastrous anti-environment record and unethical behavior, we don’t need Ryan Zinke in Congress. That’s why SEEC PAC works to raise money to elect pro-environment candidates and defeat those who favor profits and special interests over their job of protecting the public interest and future generations.

Will you pitch in a donation to help us defeat candidates like Ryan Zinke and elect a new class of pro-environmental candidates who will help us protectour communities and our planet? [[link removed]]
