"We've come to a dangerous moment in our nation where it's not just about disagreement, it's about threats of violence."
– Gov. Gretchen Whitmer
|
John: We have a dangerous problem. Women in the political sphere are facing constant, escalating harassment.
|
We saw it in the right-wing extremist plot to kidnap Gov. Whitmer. We saw it in the racist and sexist attacks on Vice President Harris throughout her campaign. And we’re seeing it right now in the daily calls for physical violence against so many women in office.
|
These threats have a clear purpose: discouraging women from running and pushing them out of office. We need to stand united together against these threats and double down on our work to support women on the campaign trail and in office. That's where you come in: Will you give $5 or more before tomorrow's crucial end-of-month deadline to help recruit, train and elect Democratic women nationwide?

The calls for violence against women are not only coming from disgruntled strangers online – they are also coming from the GOP extremists who hold elected office right now.
|
Emerge is building a powerful network of Democratic women in office and up-and-coming future leaders – and we need to fight together to support these women in the face of this escalating harassment. But we can’t do any of it without your crucial support.
|
So please, will you give $5 or more right now to help us close our $5,944 end-of-month fundraising gap? Every dollar you chip in goes directly toward building and supporting our powerful network of women leaders.

With gratitude,

Team Emerge

Emerge is a national organization working to recruit, train, and get Democratic women elected across the country, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Our alums are strong voices for Democratic values — and they are running up and down the ballot to fight for working families. They are fighting for critical issues that affect our communities, such as the environment, accessible and affordable health care, social justice, and education equity. We need more alums fighting for us across the country.
You may notice that we send a lot of emails asking for your support — that’s because we win when everyone does what they can to help. Our organization depends on thousands of actual people who care about our democracy and want to see positive change in our communities and across our country by building power through investing in Democratic women.
