In 2017, Danica beat Bob to become one of the first openly trans state legislators in U.S. history. Victory was sweet indeed: as Danica says, he proclaimed himself Virginia's Chief Bigot and proposed a slate of legislation attacking the LGBTQ community.
And now Bigot Bob is trying to best Danica again - by donating $3,000 to her anti-LGBTQ opponent, Kelly McGinn. Kelly's been a wolf in sheep's clothing, pretending she's your average suburban mom. But McGinn has long advocated against the Equal Rights Amendment and once claimed LGBTQ adoption was “a social experiment on our children.” She tried to block marriage equality, even comparing it to slavery, and actively opposes adding sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes.
