[1]Real Justice

If you’ve ever wondered why we raise money via email like
this John, here’s
the reason: because grassroots donations are worth more to us than big
checks from foundations.

Our goal is to build a movement. We want a team, because teams are
stronger than individuals. We can call on each other to chip in when it
matters most, and volunteer to do the work that needs to happen to win.

When you donate — particularly to help us hit tough deadlines like the one
we have tonight — it shows you’re a part of our team. It shows that you
know where you stand on the defining racial justice issues of our time.

Every single one of our most visible anti-mass incarceration DAs are under
withering attack right now from establishment politicians, cop unions, and
their wealthy and well-connected backers. We’re gearing up to push back,
and we need a team to do it.

[ [link removed] ]That seemed like a good reason to ask you for your help. If you’re on
team Real Justice, can you chip in before midnight to help us support our
candidates, and take this fight into the next month?
