Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg just launched a huge ad campaign
attacking Medicare for All. And in last night’s debate he went after both
Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren with false attacks because he’s a part
of the establishment wing of the Democratic Party.

We’re working each and every day to elect progressive fighters who will
push for Medicare for All in Congress. We’re also working to push the
needle on re-imagining what’s possible in Washington and Pete Buttiigieg
is running ads to drag our movement back.

When Buttigieg attacks Medicare for All, he’s attacking every single one
of our endorsed candidates who are fighting for it.

Health care is a human right, not a privilege for those who can afford it.
It’s far past time for our country to guarantee health care for all people
without fear of going into debt to get the care that they need.

We cannot afford to keep our tiered system of care; where the wealthy get
the care they need and everyone else gets left behind in a system that
profits off of sickness.

Big Pharma and their special interests have had far too much power in
Washington for far too long. And right now, Buttigieg is showing us that
he is an extension of their greed and corruption and that he would allow
these companies to continue to drive people into bankruptcy to pay for
their medical bills.

We are in the existential fight for the soul of the Democratic Party. It’s
up to each one of us to fuel our movement for progress because our
movement belongs to all of us.
