If you have ever found yourself thinking “I’ll make my first online contribution to help
Gavin beat this recall if it looks like he’ll need it when we get closer
to the election” — well, I am writing to let you know today is that day.

This is a big week for us:

First, a poll came out showing that if we cannot turn out Democrats in
this recall, it could be a very close race. Ballots drop in two weeks. We
have a lot of work and not a lot of time.

And, we have an official fundraising deadline that ends at midnight
tonight, after which we’re legally required to report our fundraising
numbers.

So, today is that day. What do you say?

When we report our numbers, it’s not just about how much we raise, which
