Hoosiers will be receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in tax credits as a
result of strong, common sense leadership.

 

$545 million to be exact.

 

It’s just another piece of evidence showing that Indiana is on the right track
–– and we’re doing everything we can to build on that success.

John,

 

There’s so many things that I love about serving as governor –– but there’s
one part of the job that rises above the rest:

 

The ability to have a positive, direct impact on the lives of Hoosiers like
yourself.

 

Earlier this month, my administration made a major announcement that we closed
out the fiscal year with record reserves, allowing us to refund$545 million
back into the pockets of Hoosiers.

 

It’s proof that what we’re doing is working, John. And it’s working better
than anybody expected.

 

Indiana is in a better fiscal position now than we were before the pandemic ––
and to be frank, there’s not many states that can say that!

 

Going forward, I can promise you this: 

 

I’m committed to doing everything I can to keep Indiana moving in the right
direction.
