July has been a whirlwind of a month, John, and I wanted to take a few moments to recap all we’ve accomplished in the last month. But first, I’m asking you to chip in $5 to my campaign to help us keep moving Michigan forward.

I’ve been making good on my promise to put Michigan first, and I’ve been hard at work. Just this month alone, I’ve:

• Signed a historic $17.1 billion public education budget
• Signed legislation to strengthen Michigan manufacturing
• Secured a grant to expand the state’s registered apprenticeship expansion efforts and increase employment opportunities for Michiganders
• Announced a historic $150 million investment in local parks and trails

And our work is just getting started. We’re recovering from a pandemic that set back the global economy, but here in Michigan, we’re getting people back to work.
