With the Democratic Presidential Debate last night, it seems our minds are all on national politics right now. While the Presidential election will be incredibly important, I'm reaching out to remind you of the critical challenges we're facing right here in Michigan.

We're just four days away from our Quarter 3 fundraising deadline.

Every quarter this year we have surpassed our goals thanks to you. But with MI GOP-backed candidates already announcing their candidacy in the red-to-blue House seats we flipped in 2018, we can't slow down now.

I am $5,000 away from my Quarter 3 goal. That seems like a lot, but every contribution, no matter how small, adds up. With your help I know we can meet our goals.

As House Democratic Campaigns Chair I have three responsibilities:
1. Supporting the representatives who just flipped their seats from red to blue in 2018 to make sure they are re-elected in 2020.
2. Flip four more Republican districts to win a Democratic majority in the State House.
3. But, as always, my first priority needs to be reaching voters in my own district.

Help me keep HD 52 blue so I can use my resources as House Democratic Campaigns Chair to not only support members in vulnerable protect seats, but help democratic candidates win across the state. ([link removed])

It's already becoming clear that the presidential election next year will draw a lot of attention to the national level. But we cannot take our eye off the prize here in Michigan.
