This week we were outside the U.S. Capitol for CPAC Cuba Libre, the first rally since Pelosi locked up the People’s House after January 6th. Together with Bienvenido US, Republican National Hispanic Assembly, Tea Party Patriots and members of Congress we demanded action NOW from the Biden administration to support the Cuban cause of freedom.

For too long, the Left has ignored the failures of communism. Communism fails in every country where it is tried -- and for good reason. The dangerous ideology is wrong about economics and human nature. The food shortages, healthcare crisis, and the repressions from the government in Cuba are all a consequence of the communist system there.

At the ACU, we stand for individual liberty and for the free market. These are both absent in Cuba, but the protesters in Cuba are rising up to tell their government, "Enough!" We are united with those protesters in spirit, and we have a responsibility as concerned Americans to make sure our U.S. government stands for freedom. Now is not the time to appease the communist government in Cuba.

The American Conservative Union (ACU), Bienvenidos US, Republican National Hispanic Assembly (RNHA), and the Tea Party Patriots along with the Leader’s Advisory Team on Cuba held a press conference and rally this week demanding action by the Biden Administration against the oppressive communist dictatorship of Cuba.
