Dear John,
Last night was the deadline for congressional candidates to file their fundraising totals for the quarter. Now that we have all the numbers, I have great news!
We’ve raised more in individual contributions than our opponent, Rep. Jerry Nadler. And I couldn’t have done it without you.
We raised $154K from individuals versus Rep. Nadler, who raised $136K. And on top of that, we grew our small donor base by 50%. This show of grassroots is incredible.
Thanks to you, we've raised nearly a half million dollars to date.
Donate here to support the candidate who gets more support from real people.
We didn’t take a dime of corporate PAC money, but my opponent has accepted corporate PAC donations to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars over his career. Just in the last three months, he took over $30K from corporate PACs.
If you agree we need to get big money out of politics and support candidates who won’t take money from corporate PACs, donate here.
It’s disgraceful that members of Congress can take PAC money from corporations that are affected by decisions made on those members’ congressional committees. It may be legal, but it’s not right.
For the sake of transparency and democracy, I will never take a dime of corporate PAC money.

It’s time we had representatives who are only accountable to the people. Join us.
All my best,
