Friend,
I have good news and some not-so-good news.
First, the good news: President Joe Biden and a bipartisan group of senators announced their agreement on the details of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal. This once-in-a-generation investment in our infrastructure will empower city leaders like Mayor Kate Gallego to grow the economy, create good jobs, and make our economy more sustainable and equitable.
Now, the not-so-good news: Our fundraising numbers are not where we need them to be. If we're unable to meet our fundraising goals for this month, we may need to scale back on outreach to compensate, and quite frankly we can't let that happen.
Running a campaign isn’t easy, and that's why Team Kate relies on the incredible grassroots network you've helped create.
The amount isn’t as important as the donation itself, because it’s going to take a lot of people chipping in a few bucks at a time to help reach our fundraising goal.
Can I count on you to chip in before our deadline?
Thank you!!
-- Kevin
