John,
Texas Democrats are still in DC lobbying to pass federal legislation like the For the People Act or the John Lewis Voting Rights Bill. They can’t even go home, but they haven’t given up hope.
Groups like us are making sure voters hold racist legislators accountable. Midterm elections are usually tough for the party that controls the White House, but we aren’t going to let that stop us.
A couple of months ago, the entire country was riled up by the Georgia bill and donated to protect voting rights. It seemed like the momentum was on our side. But after losing that battle, we also lost the momentum. Since then, donations to protect voting rights slowed down, but I am emailing you today because we are not giving up -- not by a long shot.
John, I hope you have not lost hope to protect voting rights. If the GOP succeeds in its voter suppression campaign, we will lose every other legislative battle. So, can you chip in $25 to protect voting rights?

This fight isn’t over by a long shot, and we’re in it for the long haul, but we can’t let the summer slowdown derail our efforts.
That’s why we’re asking you to step up today, and make sure we get back on pace, so we can stay on track with our plans to protect voting rights.

Thank you,
Vote From Home
------------
Vote From Home is a grassroots movement that's fighting to expand vote-by-mail. We helped thousands of Democrats vote safely from home in Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia in 2020 and 2021. Now we're focused on stopping politicians and legislation who are making it harder for Americans to vote by mail. Please forward this email if you know someone who may be interested. Our average gift is just under $39 so consider donating that today to support voting rights: [link removed]
