Democrats control the U.S. House and Senate by razor-thin margins, and the races in Oregon next fall could make or break our majorities.

Here's the situation , John :

Right now, there are 220 Democrats in the House, barely more than the 218 needed to have a majority.

The Senate is even tighter , split with 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans, and the only thing keeping Mitch McConnell from control is the tiebreaking vote of Vice President Kamala Harris.

That means that every single race is critical to keeping Democrats in the majority, especially the upcoming elections in Oregon.

Senator Ron Wyden is on the ballot next November, and control of the Senate could come down to whether or not Oregonians re-elect him to another term.

And not only do we have to work hard to re-elect all of our great Democratic Congressional Delegation, we have to go the extra mile to make sure we can elect a Democrat to Oregon's new Sixth Congressional District .

National Republicans are already looking to Oregon in hopes of taking back the House and Senate, but we're going to do everything in our power to make sure that doesn't happen. That starts with your support right now.
