Justice for Brentwood

Hi John,

Environmental racism exists in our own backyard. Ward 5, including the Brentwood Community, have dealt with decades of pollutants entering their neighborhood from poorly regulated facilities, who hold no regard for the community. These pollutants bring long-term diseases such as asthma, lung cancer, and various others that can significantly hurt someone.

Recently, Brentwood was chosen as the location for a new bus facility. This bus facility would bring 250 buses into these neighborhoods, hurting the residents’ health. The community members and ANCs have spent the last few months to work with the government to stop this from happening but no one has valued their input.

Enough is enough. We stand with the people of Brentwood to say no to this new facility. Please sign the letter to the council using the link above! It takes two seconds and can bring attention to an important fight.
